Dallin made Thayne a fighter jet in Industrial Arts. It was pretty cool. Thayne was so excited he wouldn't hold still for a good picture!
Bruce after opening up his present Dallin made him in industrial arts--a BSU football helmet! "YES!"
Thayne at the bowling alley! He finally hit some pins! Woo Hoo!Thayne and Bruce are 10 years old now! Wow! They have really grown up a lot. I guess I can leave them to do more babysitting and not worry about them as much. I started babysitting when I was ten and that was before CELL phones! I don't ever have problems leaving Dallin in charge, but maybe now I can relax a little for the rare occasion when Thayne or Bruce may need to be in charge. Like when we left one of them home during church because he was a little sick. I don't know though--there is something about those two that have always had me a little on edge. Maybe it is just that there are two of them and as my father in law says, "When you have ONE boy you have ONE boy. When you have TWO boys you have HALF a boy. When you have THREE boys you have NO boy at all." That applies to boys working, boys and common sense, etc. It's just a little too true at this house!

For their birthday they opened presents right after school and we had cake and ice cream with the Sawyers. They got LEGOS! Life doesn't get much better than that for Thayne and Bruce. Then for dinner we went to the ward Christmas party.

Then the following Tuesday I took a them and a couple friends bowling. They also got to have bowling pin cupcakes. Cute idea, but a little hard to make them look good.

We were all really horrible bowlers, but we had a great time and we all got better as we went. I didn't really get any pictures of Bruce at the bowling alley though. I'm not so good at remembering to get pictures sometimes, but that is probably because I just want to enjoy the moments instead.
This is our first games scores:
Thayne had a horrible time starting out--gutter bowls all the way until the eighth frame. Bruce was giving him a pretty hard time, but then Thayne ended up beating Bruce because Bruce got gutter balls for the last three frames! Here's the second games scores:
Sean was pretty happy to just be bowling and I think Caden (Cobb) is naturally good and most anything with a ball! They were fun boys to take out!
