Groundhogs Day

This is just a silly little video about a family tradition at Warnick households. Lance's mom started it. His Navajo foster brothers really fell for having "groundhog" for breakfast on Groundhogs Day several of them did not even want to try eating "groundhog." We do it every year too. I like to make the groundhog with the eyes still in them and the tails still attached, but Lance just likes the meat. They taste spicy and not like chicken. Mmmmm! I think we need to have groundhog more often than once a year!

Funny! A recipe! Sausage links, with whole cloves stuck were there could be eyes, and toothpicks--broken in half and rolled around in the sausage grease before putting half in the opposite end of the eyes! As long as they don't think they have to eat the eyes and tail it is funny. You have to use PORK sausage--no low-fat turkey stuff for this special day!
